Browser View of X Chromosomes
The following graphics demonstrate the location of Mic’s X-Chromosome cousins on the X Chromsome. The graphic is taken from the FTDNA Chromosome Browser. Because a maximum of 5 matches may be tested at a time, four groups had to be created to test all 17 matches. Each person within a group was color-coded. The colors were automatically assigned by the chromosome browser in a specific order. The first was Gold, second Blue, third Green, fourth Purple and fifth Yellow.
The four groups were numbered 1-4. Individual cousins were given a number to keep them consecutive and initials were substituted for names to keep the identities private but identifiable by Mic’s matching X-Chromosome Cousins. One match asked to be anonymous.
If the Y-haplogroup or the Mt-DNA Haplogroup were known it was included. The letter C and a number represents the chromosome number on which that cousin matches Mic at 5 Centi-Morgans. Chrom Start and End Loc represent the beginning and ending point on the X Chromsome of the match location. CM is the length in Centi-Morgans of the match and the last number is the number of matching SNPS.

This last category represents those matching Mic on Chromosome 16.
L M is the mother of C D H and the grandmother of J T G. All three match in the identical location on Chromosome 16.C D H and J T G match Mic on the X-Chromosome but L M does not. Since R J also matched Mic on Chromosome 16 that cousin was included in this chart to see where teh match was located on the chromosome.
