Mt-DNA Pedigree -Engstrom
I have chosen the Engstrom pedigree as the first of my non – Keziah Willis matches. This is the longest in generations and farthest back pedigree of all my Mt-DNA matches and is copied from my match’s the online tree and other sources. I have chosen to not identify any of my living matchs, so, have been vague with and listed names in the most recent generations. As, as I got further down the pedigree I began expanding more public information.

I will be adding and/or deleting children, dates and places as I continue my journey. When I begin a lineage, I initially begin the search with the prior work of my match. I supplement their work with anything else I can find such as online trees of my match, online trees of others, published in-print or online genealogies, published or digitized county or state records or histories.
A big help on this family was a large book, Early Lynn Families, Including Lynnfield, Nahant, Saugus and Swampscott: A Genealogical Study from the Earliest Settlers through the Revolutionary War, by Marcia Wilson Wiswall Lindberg, BA, MLS, CG Published by Higginson Book Company, Salem MA 2004
Another book used was Estes Genealogies 1097-1893 Compiled by Charles Estes of Warren, Rhode Island Published 1894 Eben Putnam, Publishers, Salem, MA and found digitized on Ancestry.com
Hopefully, the lineages of my other matches will somehow intersect with this line.
Remember we are tracing the Mt-DNA lineages from daughter to mother, her mother, her mother, etc. I will try to document daughters and daughters of mothers and not be so diligent tracing the lines of male descendants.
