FTDNA Tool Help 3: Joining Projects
You may “join” as many projects as you wish.
Some project administrators, however, place restrictions on who joins or due to the type of project they administer. Some projects are surname only, or location only or by some other criteria established by the administrator.
Our project is open to anyone with the assumption they share, somewhere in their family tree, male or female, a kinship or affiliation with us. If you match someone not in our group who you feel should be in our group, suggest they join us.
Don’t be like some that have joined our project and, then left.
I have seen messages like “I did not see anyone matching me” or “the site did not help me”. Well, if you leave, someone who does match you may “join” the next day. Or you may not “see” a match because they did not have a Tree or Ancestral Surnames posted. But, maybe after they learn to do so, they might add them. And if you leave you won’t know they got added.
