FTDNA Tool Help 1: How to upload a GEDCOM
A family tree is one of the most essential major tools used by those who match someone. It is the major tool describing how a match matches another.
To upload a GEDCOM, go to your personal page and click on the family tree button. On the top right is a button to upload a gedcom. A gedcom is a report generated from a genealogy software or tree on a genealogical website such as Ancestry or FamilySearch.
For those who have no tree anywhere, a tree may be created manually by going to your personal page and clicking on the family tree button. A green and white image will pop up over the screen and a tutorial will guide you through building a tree in either in a pedigree or a family-view format.
